B-LAB NOISE GENERATOR  

(BRAINWAVE LAB) is an experimental project focused on drones, noise and soundscapes.The work is rooted in sound design, using raw sound as the core material.

It embraces sound in its many forms and we draw inspiration from analog synthesis, acoustics, field recordings and binaural gear to create unique and compelling listening experiences.

 

B-Lab was born from a lifelong exploration of sound and its possibilities beyond music. The journey began in the mid-1980s when, as a teenager, I experienced sound therapy during a period of illness. That experience sparked a fascination with the power of sound to influence the mind and body, setting me on a path of discovery that has shaped my work ever since.

 

Over the years, as a musician, studio technician, recording and mastering engineer, and music producer, I've conducted countless experiments with sound. These included working with raw noise, frequencies, and spatial audio, which I've had the opportunity to apply in various creative contexts, including soundtracks for films, sound installations, site-specific projects, dance, theater productions, and musical compositions. These experiences allowed me to explore how sound interacts with space, emotion, and storytelling.

 

During the pandemics, I decided to share material from decades of experimentation and exploration.

Through streaming platforms and this site, I offer curated soundscapes, frequencies, and research that have emerged from my journey, blending artistic practice with technical discovery
